Memory Diary Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Memory Diary is a private memory journaling app operated by NLD Tech LLC ("NLD Tech", "we", "us"). We design the app to minimize collection of sensitive diary content and to give users control over optional features such as usage analytics.

What Data Memory Diary Stores

To provide app functionality, Memory Diary may store data you create and manage, including:

Analytics (Usage Analytics)

Memory Diary uses Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) to understand app usage and improve reliability, performance, and feature design.

Examples of analytics events include:

What We Do Not Send To Analytics

Memory Diary is configured to avoid sending diary content to analytics. This includes:

Your Controls

You can disable usage analytics at any time in the app:

Push Notifications

If enabled, Memory Diary may use device notification services (APNs / Firebase Cloud Messaging) for app notifications. Notification preferences can be managed in the app and in your device settings.

Service Providers

Memory Diary uses Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, and storage. We use Resend to deliver account emails such as verification and password-reset messages; to send these, your email address is shared with Resend solely for delivery. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Data Security

Memory Diary uses Firebase services (such as Authentication, Firestore, and Storage) with security rules and server-side validation to protect access to data. No system is guaranteed to be completely secure, but we aim to apply least-privilege access and privacy-conscious defaults.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy as Memory Diary evolves. Material changes should be reflected on this page with an updated date.
